Broadbeach will be celebrating the Christmas spirit on Saturday the 19th of December when Broadbeach Alliance proudly supported by 92.5 Gold Fm presents the Broadbeach Christmas Carols in Kurrawa Park from 5.30pm. The night which is set to be one of the highlights on the Gold Coast Christmas calendar is in support of the Gold Coast Community Fund and will include a host of stunning entertainment for the whole family including;

Donald Cant

Best known as one of Australia's "Phantoms" in "The Phantom of the Opera", Donald is one of Australia's leading musical performers, with a career encompassing music theatre, concerts, cabaret, opera, Lieder and recording. He also performs regularly on television in Australia, and has sung before the Queen, Prince Charles, Princess Diana, Prince Edward, and the Pope, and at many other significant cultural and State ceremonial occasions in Australia, including the Prime Minister's Official Gala Dinner for the 2000 Olympics.

Danielle Everett

Danielle Everett has wowed audiences around the world and across Australia with her operatically trained voice, sensational dancing ability and stunningly beautiful looks. Whether performing the aria Queen of the Night from Mozart's Magic Flute or performing musical theatre numbers such as Le Jazz Hot from Victor Victoria, Danielle will leave you mesmerized. Like most students of music and dance, Danielle's career was crafted whilst performing within many music theatre productions, none demonstrating her abilities more than in the lead role of Christine in the Australasian tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera. Danielle also performs concerts regularly throughout Australia and around the world. These credits include a performance in the Great Hall of Canberra's Parliament House, at the opening of the Dubai Racing World Cup, as solo soprano in a Cole Porter concert series with the Queensland Pops Orchestra, at the opening of the Malaysian Grand Prix and a solo performance at the Manchester Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremonies. Whilst Danielle's singing and dancing ability was crafted on-stage, she has excelled with her professional career by performing her own customised shows regularly within the corporate sector. These shows have included performing with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Donald Cant and Dale Burridge, as well as singing under the direction of the world renowned music maestro Tommy Tycho.

Casey Barnes

Highly respected by his peers and after delivering consistent dynamic performances week after week, Casey Barnes secured himself a place to the top 10 in season 7 of Australian Idol 2009. His send off was noted as one of the best in the history of the show with the judges assuring Casey that he would undoubtedly go on to have a highly successful career due to his grace, maturity, solid voice and persistence. With Casey's large fan base and national television exposure reaching out to over a million viewers, he is using the opportunities from the show to move forward with his music career and is releasing a new single early next year. Casey will be performing with his equally talented wife Michelle at the Broadbeach Christmas Carols.

Other performers include the incredible Australian Youth Choir, the Rainbow Teddies for the little ones, songstress Samantha Mooney, Steffi Burns (the Gold Coast’s own Miley Cyrus) as well as Santa and his elves and so much more.
