Broadbeach Alliance has released the dates for the 2009 Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival. The eighth annual Festival will be held from Thursday the 28th of May up until and including Sunday the 31st of May 2009.

Visitors are expected to flock to the eighth annual festival after the success of the 2008 festival despite being almost cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions.

Broadbeach Alliance Spokesperson Tammie Readings believes that 2009 will be the best festival yet.

The team has already begun working on the 2009 festival and is looking at some seriously amazing acts for next year.

The festival which is now entirely planned by the seven members of the Broadbeach Alliance team will include more emphasis on entertainment throughout the venues, performers never seen at previous festivals and will also ensure that the most authentic Australian Blues Festival stays that way.

Blues on Broadbeach is an iconic Gold Coast event that has become such an enormously popular festival and will continue to showcase amazing musicians and give visitors and locals the money can’t buy experience that is Broadbeach,” Ms Readings said.
