The lifestyle of Broadbeach is one of a village in a resort setting with an uninterrupted stretch of beautiful golden sand which creates the picturesque backdrop of Broadbeach. Surfers feel right at home among the rolling waves and swimmers enjoy two patrolled areas provided for safe swimming 365 days a year. Our pristine beach is also the perfect location for whale-watching from June to November. Weekends throughout the summer months are filled with excitement as surf lifesavers compete in beach and surf races and kite surfers soar across the waves on a windy afternoon.

Kurrawa Park & Pratten Park run alongside the exquisite Boradbeach foreshore with landscaped walking tracks, children’s play areas, free barbeques and picnic settings, and plenty of open space for an afternoon game of cricket.

Recently refurbished Federation Park and Victoria Park add to the extensive network of beautifully maintained parks and gardens with magnificent sculptures and children’s play areas. Broadbeach parks are also home to many of our exciting signature events and festivals as well as our beachfront arts & crafts markets, with the newest inclusion being the Jan Power's Farmers Markets at the Oracle every second Sunday of every month.

Broadbeach is now home to the Gold Coast’s new professional basketball team the Gold Coast Blaze, check out one of their exciting games at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Only a short drive from Broadbeach is Skilled Park – home to the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans and Metricon Stadium - home to the Gold Coast Suns.
