OPERA IN THE PARK

4 OCTOBER 2014

Broadbeach Alliance Presents; Opera in the Park - 'Just a Touch of Broadway'. Saturday 4 October 2014 in Kurrawa Park from 6pm.

Bring a blanket, sit back and once again enjoy a free evening of incredible world-class entertainment under the stars. 

Enjoy a night filled with your favourite broadway shows including Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Chess. 

See Donald Cant, best known as one of Australia’s ‘Phantoms’ in Phantom of the Opera. Having sung before the Queen, Donald will be performing just for you.

Enjoy the incredible talent of Amelia Farrugia, one of Australia’s favorite star sopranos, who has performed the title roles of Massenet’s Manon and Lehar’s The Merry Widow for Opera Australia. Amelia regularly performs with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra along with many more.

The evening produced by Allister McCormick with music direction from David Cameron will also feature a host of local performers including the Gold Coast Choir  and The Gold Coast Youth Orchestra.


 

 

 

   

 

BROADBEACH CHRISTMAS CAROLS

13 DECEMBER 2014

Join us under the stars for the Broadbeach Christmas Carols on Saturday 13 December from 3pm in Kurrawa Park.

With kids activities from 3pm in Kurrawa Park including:

  • Smartie Pants the Clown
  • Baloon Twisters
  • Face painters 

The Broadbeach Christmas Carols begin from 6pm with an amazing line up of performers to celebrate the spirit of Christmas under the stars in a FREE evening. The always incredible Marina Prior and the ever talented Denis Walter along with:

  • Gold Coast Youth Orchestra
  • Gold Coast Choir
  • Santa

BLUES ON BROADBEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL

21-24 MAY 2015

Transcending the barriers of age, gender and culture Blues on Broadbeach is one of Australia’s most iconic Blues festivals.

The Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival held from 21 - 24 May 2015 is the largest FREE music festival in Australia.

With national and international artists performing over four huge days and nights on outdoor stages and in venues throughout Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. It is unique as it feeds on the village like atmosphere and relaxed ambience that is Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.
