Surfers feel right at home among the rolling waves and swimmers enjoy two patrolled areas provided for safe swimming 365 days a year.

Weekends throughout the summer months are filled with beautiful weather and excitement as surf lifesavers compete in beach and surf races and kite surfers soar across the waves on a windy afternoon.  Our pristine beach is also the perfect location for whale-watching from June to November.

There are plenty of other fun activities to be had with kids being able to play ball sports, build sand castles, float in the ocean and grab an ice-cream. It is also the perfect place to have a long romantic stroll.

Kurrawa Park & Pratten Park run alongside the exquisite Broadbeach foreshore.

Both parks have landscaped walking tracks, great children’s play areas, free barbeques and picnic settings, and plenty of open space for an afternoon game of cricket.

Victoria Park and Federation Park add to the extensive network of beautifully maintained parks and gardens with magnificent sculptures and children’s play areas.

Broadbeach parks are also home to many of our exciting signature events and festivals as well as our beachfront arts & crafts markets.
