Broadbeach Program 2012
Designated drivers get free soft drinks so before heading out on the town, decide who’s going to be the designated driver.
When you arrive at one of the venues listed below, simply register as the designated driver. This is done by agreeing to the conditions of the program and remaining alcohol free for the night.
As the designated driver, you’ll be provided with free soft drinks, but more importantly you will have peace of mind knowing you and your mates will arrive home safely.

Patron terms and conditions:
The wristband and drink card have been issued to the holder who has agreed to participate in the Designated Driver Program as a designated driver. By agreeing to participate, the designated driver must wear the wristband at all times and present their card when redeeming their soft drink. The designated driver must at all times remain alcohol free and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the program relevant to the participating licensed premises when acting as a designated driver. The venue reserves the right to cease the promotion if the agreed terms and conditions are not followed.
Venue terms and conditions:
Eligibility to participate in the Designated Driver Program is at the discretion of the licensed venue. The participating venues are able to impose their own terms and conditions as to the availability of the program, i.e. a post 8pm program. The venue reserves the right to cease the promotion if the agreed patron terms and conditions are not followed.
The Broadbeach Designated Driver Program is a collaborative, harm-minimisation project between DRUG ARM Australasia, Broadbeach Alliance, Broadbeach Licensed Venues Association, Gold Coast City Council and The Oasis Shopping Centre Car Park.
